To give the client a good range of visual choices I decided to change some of the visuals around (with regards to colour). This will allow for alot more flexibility in the logo and its purpose. As the College/University has alot of different event days throughout the course of the year I thought it would be a good plan to create some colour and background variants that can be used whenever they have events. In the screenshot you can see the LGBT variant which can be use for there awareness weeks, but it isn't just the background that has changed as that would be too simple. The shapes are also all different colors of the rainbow.
This could be use for any event for example for Breast Cancer the logo can be changed to pink and a new background implemented simply.
This would be a fantastic way to add multiple uses to this logo whilst keeping it fresh. My inspiration was the ever changing Halifax and BBC logos as these constant changes keep to logo looking fresh whilst still being familiar and that is what i wished to go for with this University Logo.
